Alphaa for Webflow.
Posts AI can quote, straight into your CMS.
Authorize Alphaa on your Webflow site with one click. Alphaa publishes the posts you approve to your blog collection and updates the SEO titles and descriptions of your pages. It asks for CMS read/write, Pages read/write and Sites read, and nothing else.
What Alphaa does on Webflow.
You approve each change, or turn on auto-publish for blog posts on Pro. Every change has Undo.
Blog posts
Published live to your blog collection in the Webflow CMS, with title, summary, body and featured image mapped to your fields.
FAQ pages
Webflow’s API can’t create standalone pages, so FAQ content goes into your blog collection as its own item.
Page titles and descriptions
Updates the SEO title and meta description of your static pages. They show on your live site the next time you publish in Webflow.
Undo on everything
Undo unpublishes a CMS item (Webflow keeps it as a draft) and puts a page title or description back to what it was.
What it can’t do on Webflow
- With these permissions Alphaa can’t add site-wide custom code, so structured data and an llms.txt at your own domain go to your web person to paste into Webflow’s custom code settings. Alphaa sends them the exact code.
- Alphaa doesn’t publish your whole site, because that would also push any unfinished Designer work. Title changes wait for your next Publish in Webflow.
- You need a CMS collection with a rich-text field (like a Blog) to publish posts to.
Connect it in three steps.
- 1
In Alphaa, tap “Connect my website” and pick Webflow.
- 2
Sign in to Webflow, choose your site and click Authorize.
- 3
You’re back in Alphaa, connected. Approve your first post and it goes live on your site.
The permissions it asks for, and why.
| Permission | Why Alphaa needs it |
|---|---|
Sites: read | To find your site and its public address, so links to new posts are right. |
CMS: read | To find your blog collection and its fields, so posts land in the right place. |
CMS: write | To publish the posts you approve, and unpublish them again when you click Undo. |
Pages: read | To match a page on your site to its Webflow page before changing its title. |
Pages: write | To update a page’s SEO title and meta description, and put them back on Undo. |
Alphaa can’t change your designs, your site settings, your forms or your billing.
Questions, answered.
What can Alphaa change on my Webflow site?
Items in your blog collection and the SEO title and description of your pages. It asks for CMS read/write, Pages read/write and Sites read. It can’t change your designs, site settings or forms.
Why don’t my title changes show up straight away?
Webflow stages page settings until you publish. Alphaa doesn’t publish your whole site for you, because that would also push any unfinished work in the Designer. Hit Publish in Webflow and they go live.
Can Alphaa add schema or llms.txt on Webflow?
Not with the permissions it asks for. Alphaa writes the structured data and llms.txt for you and emails your web person exactly where to paste them in Webflow, or our team does it on Full Service.
What happens when I click Undo?
A published post is unpublished and kept as a draft in your CMS, not deleted. Page title and description changes go back to what they were.
Will Alphaa publish without asking?
Nothing goes live until you approve it in Alphaa. On the Pro plan you can turn on auto-publish for blog posts, which only publishes drafts that have no [placeholders] left to fill in.
How do I disconnect?
In Alphaa, go to Settings → Website connection and click Disconnect. Alphaa forgets the connection and asks Webflow to revoke its access. You can also remove Alphaa in your Webflow workspace’s app settings.
How Alphaa stores what it needs to connect: see our privacy policy. Other platforms: we email your web person the exact change.
