Otterly AI vs Peec AI: Which AI Tracker Fits? (2026)
Otterly AI is the cheaper way to start and bundles page audits, Peec AI goes deeper on analytics for teams, and neither one writes or publishes the fix.

By the Alphaa team — we build an AI agent that checks what ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity say about local businesses. Competitor facts below were read from each company's own site on 5 October 2026.
Short answer: In Otterly AI vs Peec AI, Otterly is the cheaper start at $29 a month and bundles page audits, while Peec AI starts at $95 and goes deeper on analytics for marketing teams. Both track what AI assistants say about your brand every day. Neither writes or publishes the fix, so choose on who will do that work.
We sell a different kind of product, an agent rather than a tracker, so we have a view and you should read this with that in mind. Every price and limit below is on the vendor's own pricing page, linked so you can check it. Prices change; these are as of October 2026.
What do Otterly AI and Peec AI actually do?
Both are AI-search monitoring tools: you give them a list of prompts, they ask AI assistants those prompts on a schedule, and they record who was mentioned and which pages were cited. From there you get charts of visibility over time, comparisons against competitors, and a list of the sources the engines leaned on.
OtterlyAI describes itself as a content intelligence platform for AI search, and puts prompt research, search analytics, content audits and optimization recommendations on its homepage. Peec AI positions itself as AI search analytics for marketing teams and SEO agencies, with visibility, position, sentiment and share of voice tracked against competitors. The overlap is large. The differences are in price shape, engine coverage and how much analysis sits on top of the raw answers.
How do Otterly AI and Peec AI compare on price?
Otterly AI is cheaper to start and Peec AI gives you more prompts at entry, and per prompt they land in nearly the same place. Otterly's pricing page lists Lite at $29 a month for 15 prompts; Peec AI's pricing page lists Starter at $95 a month for 50. That is about $1.93 against $1.90 per tracked prompt.
| What | Otterly AI | Peec AI |
|---|---|---|
| Entry plan (Oct 2026) | Lite, $29 a month, 15 prompts | Starter, $95 a month, 50 prompts |
| Middle plan | Standard, $189 a month, 100 prompts | Pro, $245 a month, 150 prompts |
| Top self-serve plan | Premium, $489 a month, 400 prompts | Advanced, $495 a month, 350 prompts |
| Enterprise | Custom, from 1,000 prompts | Custom, billed annually, up to 13 models |
| Engines included | ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot | Choose 3 models per self-serve plan |
| Engines as paid add-ons | Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude | Wider model list on Enterprise |
| Tracking frequency | Daily | Daily (daily or weekly on Enterprise) |
| Team members | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Page audits | 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 GEO audits a month by plan | Not sold as a per-URL audit quota |
| Workspaces or projects | 1 on Lite, unlimited from Standard | 1, 2 or 5 by plan |
| Writes and publishes the fix | No | No |
The practical gap is the floor, not the rate. If you want to watch 15 questions and nothing else, Otterly lets you do that for $29. Peec AI has no plan that small. If you already know you need 50 or more prompts, the two cost about the same and the decision moves to what you get on top.
Which AI engines does each tool cover?
Otterly AI includes four engines on every plan and charges extra for three more, while Peec AI lets you pick any three models on self-serve plans. That sounds like a small difference and it changes the real price.
- Otterly AI's included four are ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Gemini and Google AI Mode are add-ons listed at $9 a month each on Lite, $59 on Standard and $149 on Premium. Claude is an add-on at $29, $109 or $439 a month depending on the plan.
- Peec AI's self-serve plans say "Choose 3 models". You pick which three, so a team that only cares about ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Gemini pays nothing extra. Enterprise lists up to 13 models. Check the model list for the plan you would actually buy, because some models are marked as Enterprise or API on its coverage table.
So an Otterly Standard customer who wants Gemini and Claude as well is paying $189 plus $59 plus $109, or $357 a month, for six engines. A Peec AI Pro customer pays $245 for three. Work out your own engine list before you compare the headline numbers. Google, for what it is worth, says in its documentation on AI features that AI Overviews and AI Mode need no special optimization beyond normal Search eligibility, so tracking them is about measurement, not a separate discipline.
Where is Otterly AI stronger?
Otterly AI is stronger on entry price and on page-level audits. The $29 Lite plan is a low published price for this category, and it still includes daily tracking, unlimited team members and unlimited brand reports.
The audit quota is the other distinguishing feature. Otterly's plans include 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 GEO audits a month, which check individual URLs for the things that stop AI engines using them, and its homepage lists crawlability checks and content briefs alongside. Lite caps recommendations at three a week; Standard and above are unlimited. Standard also adds API access, MCP access and agent analytics. Its site says it is used by more than 40,000 marketing professionals. There is a free trial.
Where is Peec AI stronger?
Peec AI is stronger on analytical depth and on fitting a team that reports upward. Its feature table goes beyond visibility charts into sentiment, position and share of voice against competitors, source analytics that classify the domains engines retrieve, prompt-volume scoring, and intent and brand classification for each prompt.
It also scales more cleanly for multi-brand work. Projects go from one to five across the self-serve plans, the Advanced plan adds multi-country tracking and a Looker Studio integration, and there is a separate agency pricing page for tracking several client brands. Its site says it is trusted by more than 3,000 brands and agencies. We compared it with a heavier enterprise option in Profound vs Peec AI vs Alphaa.
What does neither tool do?
Neither Otterly AI nor Peec AI changes anything on your website. Both stop at the recommendation. That is a reasonable product boundary for a marketing team with writers and a developer, and it is the whole problem for a business that has neither.
- They do not write the page. You will be told a competitor is cited for a question and you are not. Someone still has to write the answer.
- They do not publish. Neither connects to your CMS to ship a change, add structured data or update an llms.txt file.
- They do not handle the local layer. Review replies, Google Business Profile posts and directory consistency are outside both products.
- They cannot control the answer. No tracker can. AI answers are generated fresh each time, which is why a single reading means little, as we explain in why AI answers change every time.
When is a tracker the wrong purchase?
A tracker is the wrong purchase when nobody on your side has time to act on what it shows. A dashboard that reports the same gap for six months has cost you six subscriptions and changed nothing.
That is the case Alphaa is built for, and it is a narrower tool. It asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity 10 or 20 customer questions a week, runs a 23-point check on what those engines can read on your site, then drafts the fix: a page, an FAQ block, structured data, an llms.txt file, a review reply. You approve each one and it publishes to WordPress, Shopify or Webflow. Plans are $99, $199 and $299 a month, month to month.
What it does not do matters just as much here. Alphaa does not track Google AI Overviews, AI Mode or Copilot. It checks weekly, not daily. It has no sentiment scoring, no share-of-voice chart and no API. If your job is to report AI visibility to a marketing director across 300 prompts, buy Otterly AI or Peec AI. There is no free trial either; the free 60-second check shows what the four assistants say about you before you pay for anything. Our one-to-one pages cover Alphaa vs. Otterly.AI and Alphaa vs. Peec AI in more detail.
How should you choose between Otterly AI and Peec AI?
Choose by prompt count first, engine list second and reporting needs third. Those three answers settle most cases before you look at a single feature page.
- Count your prompts honestly. Write the questions a real customer would ask, without your brand name in them. Under 20, Otterly Lite is the only self-serve fit of the two. Around 50 to 150, both work.
- List the engines you need. If Claude or Gemini is essential, add Otterly's add-on prices to its plan price. If three models are enough, Peec AI's choose-three model is simpler.
- Decide who reads the output. A solo marketer fixing pages wants Otterly's URL audits. A team presenting to leadership wants Peec AI's share-of-voice and sentiment views.
- Run the same prompts by hand first. Ask five of them in each assistant yourself and save the answers. It is free, and it tells you whether daily tracking would show you anything new. The method is in how to measure AI visibility.
- Name the person who ships the fix. If you cannot, a tracker is not your bottleneck.

What else do buyers ask about Otterly AI and Peec AI?
Is Otterly AI cheaper than Peec AI?
Yes at entry: Otterly AI Lite is $29 a month and Peec AI Starter is $95, as of October 2026. Per tracked prompt the two are almost identical, because Lite covers 15 prompts and Starter covers 50.
Does Otterly AI track Claude and Gemini?
Yes, but as paid add-ons. Its pricing page lists Gemini from $9 a month and Claude from $29 a month on the Lite plan, rising on higher plans, on top of the four engines that are included.
Do Otterly AI and Peec AI offer a free trial?
Otterly AI's pricing page says it provides a free trial for new users. Peec AI's pricing page did not state trial terms in the plan cards when we read it, so confirm on its site before you plan around one.
Can either tool get my business recommended by ChatGPT?
Not by itself, because both measure answers and do not change them. What moves an answer is better public evidence about your business, which someone has to write and publish; see how to get recommended by ChatGPT.
Is daily tracking worth paying for?
It is worth it for a brand tracking hundreds of prompts where trends matter, and less so for a single local business. Answers vary run to run, so weekly readings on a fixed prompt set are usually enough to see whether a change you made had an effect.
